WALTER MOORCROFT; a large pottery jug decorated with tube lined 'Orchid' pattern on green/blue ground, with signature and impressed marks to base, height 19cm, spout to handle 18cm.
The dark green under the spout would suggest a repair, however, with a bright light the crackle of the pottery glaze is uniform up to the rim suggesting there isn's a repair. Some lines in the crackle but on the inside there's no crack, otherwise good.
