MICHEL FRANCOIS; a large stoneware moon jar covered in iron and streaky cobalt glaze, incised signature, height 34.5cm.

Francois graduated from Falmouth University in 2002, followed by a residency at the Leach Pottery, St Ives, Cornwall before setting up his own studio in Falmouth. His work was exhibited at the London Design Fair, the Leach Pottery Museum in 2019 and Collect in 2020, and in 2021 his moon jars featured in the ‘Moon Jar a Piece of Happiness' exhibition at the Han Collection in London.
