A large 19th century Japanese vase of baluster form, with flared wavy neck, decorated with exterior rural landscape panels and panels depicting enamelled chrysanthemums, bamboo birds and leaves in between, on a red ground, unmarked, height 60cm, together with a 20th century Japanese Satsuma vase of tapered form, with flared neck, decorated with male figures and warriors, with decorated panels between, with partial red painted mark to the base, height 47cm (2).

- The large vase has a section of the rim missing, tiny chips, scratches, etc.
