A large 19th century Japanese blue and white charger decorated with flora and fauna, with stylised floral motif to the outer rim, diameter 62cm.

Condition Report

There is an imperfection, which appears to be something attached on to it, rather than in it, at approximately 8 o'clock if it were a clock face, measuring approx. 4cm x 3cm. Further firing imperfections visible throughout, with some small areas of loss to the glaze. Foot rim is ground, with a small area that appears to have had a small patch of restoration, approx. 4cm across. Otherwise, appears OK, with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration, although it would benefit from a thorough clean, as previously mounted on a wall.
