RINGO STARR; a black and white photograph of The Beatles drummer, inscribed verso 'Love to Marilyn' and bearing the star's signature, along with three 'XXX', 20 x 15cm.

- The vendor (Marilyn) was working at RA Douglas Estate Agents and Auctioneers in Ellesmere Port in 1963. Ringo's uncle was a business associate of the manager of the auctioneers and would come into the office and buy cakes sometimes. The vendor had bought the album 'Please Please Me' in her lunch hour and upon seeing this, he offered to get Marilyn a signed photograph of Ringo. A few weeks later, when he next came over, he produced this signed photograph. The vendor had it displayed in an album, with the window showing the signature to the reverse.
