Provenance:
Richard studied graphic art and illustration at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York City, obtained his Masters of Fine Art degree from the Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles, California, and was selected in 1970 and celebrated as new talent in the LA Country Arts department with various exhibitions. He moved to the UK in 1977 setting up his studio in Padiham, Lancashire, and has exhibited in many venues including the Haworth Art Gallery.
