The blade is very mottled and there are some scratches. Thereis a mark at the top of the blade - please see the image that has been added

When the bayonet was returned to the scabbard the tip of the bayonet was showing through. Overall the wear is consumerate with age to the scabbard and there are some dents.

The handle shows wear consumerate with use,
