ALEX COPPEL, SOLINGEN; a German M 1884/98 bayonet, possibly first model, probably later adapted as a hunting knife, with replaced horn handle and guard, marked to the blade 'Alex Coppel, Solingen' with the Prussian crown over 'W88', over inspection mark, length of blade 24.5cm, length of knife 38cm, with original scabbard and leather frog, also silvered sword lanyard/knot.
