A British cavalry sabre, with scabbard, with a later sabre with indistinct name to the blade and with wirebound shagreen type grip (2).

The earlier sabre is in heavily worn condition which is pitted throughout and rusted and is very tired, etc, the other wirebound fishskin sword with general wear, pitting, tarnishing, etc, throughout. The scabbards are not dented but may not be original to the blades. Blades insert in one way. Blades are not bent, blade lengths are 56cm with a width of 3cm at the guard, the other is 57.5cm with a width of 2.9cm at guard. One of the scabbard tips is slightly rounded. The pommels do not have any jiggle. The scabbards and swords are numbered - please see additional images.
