The bindings are heavily rubbed and worn throughout, please see additional images.

Some foxing and general paper toning internally, odd marks to paper, gutters slightly open here and there.

Extra images uploaded.

The bindings are similar but are not a match between the two groups.

All volumes are grouped not in numerical order of plate but by category such as Algae, Mono Mus, etc. Therefore, the plate numbers jump around constantly.

The 9 volume set has title pages from Vol I-IX which are dated 1790, 1793, 1794, 1795, 1796, 1797, 1798 and 1799. There are approximately 852 plates. No check completed to ascertain if the text page is there for each plate.

The 10 volume set has title pages numbered 1801-1807 but in mixed order. Each of the title pages appears to have the Roman numeral numbering changed. There are approximately 976 pates. No check completed to ascertain if the text page is there for each plate.

The date of the plates is various for each volume and differs to the date of the title page of that volume.

SOLD AS A COLLECTION OF PLATES ONLY.

Plate count is approximate.
