BRIDGE (20th century); oil on canvas, 'Evening Tide', depicting a three-masted vessel with applied plaque to the slip inscribed ''Evening Tide' - Wavertree leaving Liverpool 1890, dismasted off Cape Horn in 1910, she became a wool hulk in Punta Arenas, then a sandlighter in Buenos Aires. Now fully restored as museum ship at South Street, Seaport, New York', and further titled verso, signed lower right, 58 x 73cm, framed and glazed.
