Buyers and prospective Buyers are deemed to have satisfied themselves before bidding by inspection or otherwise as to (but not limited to) the physical condition (including defects) of the Lot and its description in the Catalogue. All gemstones are sold as synthetic/treated unless stated otherwise in the description.

Bids to be received no later than 6.30pm on the Monday prior to the sale, or they will not be processed in time for the auction. You can register your bids via our website free of charge, bid live via our website (2% plus VAT on the hammer price), email bids to our Bidding email or by processing them through the the-saleroom.com (4.95% plus VAT on all bids/live bidding via the-saleroom.com).
Invoices will only be sent on the Wednesday evening once the auction has finished and the post sale checks have been completed. Payments to be made by the link with your invoice, by bank transfer using the correct details for each branch, online via the website, or over the phone with a debit card. Please see our After The Sale page for full details of the after sale process.
If paying by bank transfer, please ensure you have covered the cost of all sending/receiving charges and that you are paying the correct branch, as shown on your invoice.
Lots are to be collected within a week of the auction, prompt. We are a small auction room and require the space. Collections can be made from the saleroom between 10:00am to 5:00pm, weekdays only. Lots not collected within a week of the sale will be charged storage charges of £5 plus VAT per lot per day. Please note that we only offer in-house postage on very small items. If you are a winning bidder via the-saleroom.com, you will receive an automated quote via email from Auction Logistics following the auction. This is a separate service from a third party company.
Small items may be requested for transfer between certain branches, please contact us to enquire if your lots are suitable. We are unable to guarantee a transfer date, so if you do require your item for a specific date, please make arrangements with a courier of your choosing.
