Mother and Aunt Frances took George and I to meet Miss Carter (who wore pink) and there was a man just about to give Peggy stick. The men all cheered as he paced out the length. That's the longest so far, they cried, just then Miss Carter came along, alas we had to go home, and to bed, and the year was 1907' .5x36cm, framed.
